An extension of my thesis: turning the “AI for the rough draft, people for the fine-tuning” workflow into a furniture customization interface anyone can use in the browser.
- A browser-based 3D platform (Chat Paraf) built with Claude Code, Three.js and TypeScript, covering parametric models such as drawer cabinets, wardrobe display cabinets, Z-shaped shelves, sketch mannequins and bottles
- Sliders adjust size, number of shelves and color in real time, with 13 wood, metal and plastic material presets
- Built-in AI design assistant: users describe the overall idea in words, the AI returns parameters and applies them to the model, then users refine details with sliders
- Calculates shell volume and estimated material cost in real time, and exports STL / OBJ / GLB for manufacturing or 3D printing
- The architecture can extend to customizing other products and 3D models (future direction)
