This project explores marine plastic waste as a material for large-scale 3D-printed furniture. Through minimalist form studies, it identifies geometric structures best suited to the unique printing characteristics of recycled materials. For now, 1:1 prototypes are made with standard 3D printing to validate the forms, establishing a design standard and technical roadmap for future production with marine plastic waste.

FORM STUDY
From form studies to a 1:1 prototype
Line drawings first explore a range of box and shelf forms, then standard 3D printing produces a 1:1 prototype to validate the form.
